Where does my item go while it’s listed?
Nowhere — it stays at your place. We never store your item and you never haul anything anywhere. Pickup happens once, by the buyer, only after their e-transfer clears.
Who sets the price?
You do, with Maya’s help. She knows what things actually sell for in Calgary and will suggest a price — and a floor she’ll never go below when negotiating.
When and how do I get paid?
By Interac e-transfer, right after the deal completes. Sale price minus the flat 20% — the calculator above is exactly what you’ll see.
What about scammers?
Maya screens every buyer, spots the classic overpayment and shipping-agent scams instantly, and only ever deals in verified e-transfer. That protection is a big part of the 20%.
What is worth consigning?
Items that typically resell for $100 or more — electronics, bikes, instruments, tools, furniture, designer goods. Under $100? Bundle a few things into one lot and Maya sells it as a package.
What will Maya not sell?
Weapons, counterfeits, recalled or unsafe goods, and anything not legal to sell in Alberta. You confirm you own the item outright. Full details in the consignment terms.
