The service

Maya Sells lists your item on online marketplaces, negotiates with buyers within limits you approve, collects payment by Interac e-transfer, and pays you 80% of the final sale price. Your item stays in your possession until pickup by the buyer.

Fees

One flat fee: 20% of the final sale price, deducted before payout. No sale, no fee. No listing, storage or cancellation charges.

Pricing & your floor

You approve the listing price and a floor price. We never accept an offer below your floor without your explicit approval.

Your promises to us

You own the item (or are authorized to sell it), it is accurately described, and it is legal to sell. We may decline or delist any item at our discretion, including items restricted by marketplace policies or law.

Payment & payout

Buyers pay Maya Sells by verified Interac e-transfer before pickup. Your 80% is sent to you by e-transfer after the deal completes. If a sale falls through before pickup, the buyer is refunded and your item simply stays listed.

Your item, your possession

Because the item never leaves your home until pickup, risk of loss stays with you until the buyer collects it. You are responsible for making the item available at the agreed pickup time.

Cancelling

You can withdraw an item any time before a sale completes — just text us. Deals already agreed with a buyer should be honoured.

Liability

Our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the fees we earned on the relevant sale. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Alberta law.
